"Hello everyone,

I just got back from the concert about half an hour ago. I don't know what to say really, it was the first time I've ever seen k.d. live and she didn't disappoint- I'm still floating.

I'm never very good at putting my experiences into 'review' type format, so other than saying I thought it was amazing, I'll give a few facts:

She did lots of songs from 'Watershed', as well as a mix of older material- 'Smoke Rings', 'Western Stars' and 'Pay Dirt' (complete with dancing) being particularly unexpected surprises.

Although she didn't talk for the first four songs she did engage in some banter with the crowd, apart from when she was rendered speechless by someone shouting 'strap it on, baby!' as she put on her guitar. She also played banjo on 'Jealous Dog'.

Someone else in the crowd shouted out that she should play more UK dates, to which she tentatively responded by saying she may do just that in the summer!...
